Apple's next-generation phones - iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are now available in stores across the world Friday Sep 25,2015

 
Apple is launching the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus in 12 'launch' countries, including Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Singapore, the UK, and the US.

Australia was the first 'launch country' to start selling the handsets, where one woman even used a robot to queue in her place so she didn't have to camp out overnight.

Lucy Kelly purchased her iPhone 6s from Sydney's Apple store on Friday using a robot droid (pictured left), which she controlled remotely from her home. The phone was tied to the machine (right) and Ms Kelly colleague went to the store to make sure the droid could be placed safely in a car and delivered to her office

Stores in the UK, Japan and China were the next to open their doors, but the queues were seemingly much smaller compared to previous years because many people had reserved their places online.
