It was a
“positive” chai pe charcha between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and
Delhi Chief Minister-elect Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday morning.
Setting
aside their political rivalry, the two leaders discussed several key
issues relating to Delhi’s development, over tea, at the Prime
Minister’s official residence - 7, Race Course Road.
During
the meeting, Kejriwal raised the issues of full statehood for Delhi and
unification of the civic bodies, to which the Prime Minister responded
positively, saying nothing is impossible in a democracy.
