 Mohammed Shami to miss India Vs UAE WC Match
Star of India's back-to-back wins against Pakistan and South Africa, Mohammed Shami has been ruled of India's third match of the ICC World Cup 2015 due to a knee injury.
"Mohammed Shami has got mild left knee problem and had ultrasound guided-injection yesterday [Thursday] for his long-term management perspective. He won't be available for tomorrow's match against the UAE," BCCI informed the media via mail on Friday Feb 27,2015

Mohammed Shami finished with figures of 4/35 and 2/30 against Pakistan and South Africa respectively.

Indian cricket team’s chief coach Duncan Fletcher today Thursday Feb 26,2015 left for his home in South Africa following the death of his father-in-law and is set to miss team's next World Cup game against UAE on Saturday.
"Duncan today left for Cape Town after receiving the news of the death of his father-in-law. He won’t be available for the UAE game as he has a funeral to attend. But he is expected to be back before India’s next match against the West Indies on March 6," team’s media manager Dr RN Baba told

Till Fletcher is unavailable, the three assistant coaches Bharath Arun, R Sridhar and Sanjay Bangar will handle the training sessions with Ravi Shastri overseeing the tactical parts.

Defending champions India maintained their perfect start at the 2015 WC as they outclassed United Arab Emirates
India were on top throughout and dismissed UAE for 102 - the lowest total at the World Cup so far, behind England's 123 against New Zealand.
Only a spirited 35 from Shaiman Anwar spared UAE from real embarrassment. Only a fighting last-wicket stand of 31 between Shaiman Anwar (35) and Manjula Guruge (10 not out) - the highest partnership of the innings - took UAE past three figures
UAE are still waiting for a first World Cup win for 19 years, since beating Netherlands in 1996. 
India lost just one wicket as they raced to their target in 18.5 overs, Rohit Sharma hitting a half-century.
