The Supreme Court of India (SCI)on WednesdayDec 17,2014 reserved the verdict on the issue of
conflict of interest in Indian cricket after BCCI submitted a list in SC
of its administrators with conflict of interest, which included the
names of three former captains Sunil Gavaskar, Ravi Shastri and Kris
Srikkanth.
The SC while hearing the IPL spot-fixing case, had on Wednesday asked the board to submit the names of individuals, other than N Srinivasan, who would be affected if the controversial Rule 6.2.4 of BCCI's Constitution is struck down.
Rule 6.2.4 is the same which was amended in 2008 before the first edition of the IPL and facilitated Srinivasan's ownership of the Chennai Super Kings(CSK)
After Wednesday's hearing, the SC also reserved the verdict on whether Srinivasan can contest BCCI presidential elections and what action should be taken against those named in the final probe report submitted by the Justice Mukul Mudgal Committee
