Eurozone Unemployment Hits Record High

The level of unemployment in the eurozone has risen to its highest level yet as the region's economy continues to shrink.The number of people out of work in the eurozone has risen to 18.49 million, or 11.6 %(was 10.3% in 2011)

Spain has the region's highest unemployment rate, with 25.8% and Austria posted the lowest rate of 4.4 %
Germany and the Netherlands each posted jobless figures of 5.4 %
