Yaroslava Shvedova's (Kazakhstan)golden set set at Wimbledon


Yaroslava Shvedova(Kazakhstan)made history on Saturday June 30,2012 by becoming the first player to win a set at Wimbledon without conceding a point.She achieved the feat – known as a golden set – in moving one set up in her third-round match against the French Open runner-up, Sara Errani.
She held serve three times and broke Errani each time to take 24 consecutive points, hitting 14 winners and four aces along the way. The set was wrapped up in 15 minutes.
Shvedova went on to win the match 6-0, 6-4
