In the Presidential Election George Washington(Home State - Virginia) was enormously popular and un-opposed,the only real issue to be decided was who would be chosen as vice-president
John Adams becomes the Vice-President(was in office during April 1789 - March 1797 and was also the2nd President of USA March 1797- March 1801)
