2018-19 India Tour of Australia Third ODI @ MCG Friday Jan 18,2019

Three three-match One-Day International series between Australia and India is in the most interesting possible situation going into the decider.

Australia 1, India 1, with winner to take all at the iconic MCG in Melbourne on Friday January 18,2019

Australia won the first ODI in Sydney by 34 runs and India won the second in Adelaide by six wickets.

India have never won a bilateral ODI contest on Australian soil, and their only two series’ wins in this format have come in 1985 (World Championship of Cricket) and 2008 (CB Series)

Australia were put on the backfoot right from the onset with Bhuvneshwar Kumar striking early twice to take out both openers, before Chahal compounded their woes with a six-fer to rattle the middle and lower order.

Peter Handscomb's measured fifty was the only solace for the hosts, helping them avoid a sub-200 collapse.
