Who is getting the most H-1B visas?

There is no denying the fact that applications for H-1B Visas are the highest from India.

Between October 1, 2016, and June 30, 2017, America received as many as 2.47 lakh applications from India for H-1B visa.

However, there has been a sharp drop in successful applications for H-1B visa by Indian companies in fiscal year 2017. A look at this and more about the most coveted visa.

Only 2 of the 7 top Indian companies saw an increase in the H-1B visa approvals in 2017. So, while the Tech Mahindra saw a gargantuan increase of 82%, Infosys had the sharpest drop.

APPROVALS FOR US COMPANIES RISE
America’s most high-profile tech companies were awarded more H-1B visas in fiscal year 2017 over 2016. In fact, four of the 6 U.S. tech companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Google and Intel and were among the top 10 employers for approved H-1B petitions for initial employment in fiscal year 2017.
