As the only valid candidate in the fray for the election to the Congress president's post, Rahul Gandhi looks all set to take over the party reins from his mother Sonia.
He will be the fifth Nehru/Gandhi to be the Congress President - the longest serving beingSonia Gandhi who has been heading the party for 19 years since 1998.
We look at the number of years the members of the Nehru/Gandhi family have been at the helm of Congress party affairs and how often they have headed the party and the government at the same time.
