Freedom on the internet restricted worldwide

Information flowing on the Internet is being restricted across the world.

These are the findings of the report titled 'Freedom on the Net' published by Freedom House, an American NGO.

The report measures internet freedom in 65 countries and assigns score from 0 (least free) to 100 (most free) based on three broad parametres: obstacles to access (ownership controls and restrictions on applications and services etc), limits on content (censorship etc), and violation of user rights (surveillance, repercussions of online activities etc.)
