A look at the last 10 ODI's

1. March 6th, 2015, Perth – India won by 4 wickets
In their Pool B encounter at the 2015 World Cup, a sterling bowling performance from India’s bowling unit at the WACA meant the West Indies only registered a total of 182 batting first. MS Dhoni’s men lost a few wickets during the chase but eventually got home with 65 balls remaining.
2. October 17th, 2014, Dharamsala – India won by 59 runs
The game was a series decider and India won it handsomely. Virat Kohli’s century supported by fifties from Ajinkya Rahane and Suresh Raina meant the West Indies had to chase 331 to win. However, Marlon Samuels’ 7th ODI ton went in vain as they only posted 271.
3. October 11th, 2014, New Delhi – India won by 48 runs
India could only post 263 on what was a tricky wicket in the capital. West Indies started well and at one point needed only a run-a-ball to win the game. But a spirited performance from India’s bowling attack triggered an implosion as the Windies lost nine wickets for just 79 runs and were bundled out for 215.
4. October 8th, 2014, Kochi – West Indies won by 124 runs
Batting first and missing some key players, West Indies rode on Marlon Samuels’ unbeaten century and Denesh Ramdin’s 61 to post an imposing 322 for India to chase. Despite a strong start, India’s middle order crumbled under pressure and the hosts lost by a massive margin of 124 runs.
5. November 27th, 2013, Kanpur – India won by 5 wickets
West Indies had managed to post a total of 263 in what were tough batting conditions at Kanpur. However, the pitch got easier to bat on as the day progressed and this benefitted the hosts. Shikhar Dhawan’s century and Yuvraj Singh’s first 50 in eleven innings was enough to seal the deal for India.
6. November 24th, 2013, Visakhapatnam – West Indies won by 2 wickets
India posted a competitive target of 288 powered by Virat Kohli’s 99 and MS Dhoni’s half-century. However, Darren Sammy, Lendl Simmons and Kieran Powell’s brilliance took the Windies home despite losing wickets at regular intervals, often due to their own mistakes.
7. November 21st, 2013, Kochi – India won by 6 wickets
Batting first, West Indies could only post 211 after India’s spinners – led by Ravindra Jadeja and Suresh Raina – accounted for eight of the Windies 10 wickets. India chased down the target with more than 24 overs to spare as Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma did the bulk of the scoring.
8. July 5th, 2013, Port of Spain – India won by 102 runs (D/L)
After being put in to bat first, India set an imposing target of 311 thanks to Virat Kohli’s century and Shikhar Dhawan’s 69. The Windies were then bundled out for 171 as they suffered from yet another batting collapse. India’s pacers accounted for eight of their 10 wickets.
9. June 30th, 2013, Kingston – West Indies won by 1 wicket
Choosing to bowl first, West Indies restricted India to 229 with only Rohit Sharma posting a score above 50. In reply, Indian bowlers almost won them the game with some good bowling of their own but the Windies batted well enough to win the game with just one wicket to spare.
10. December 11th, 2011, Chennai – India won by 34 runs
A dead-rubber game in Chennai saw plenty of action as India posted 267 courtesy Manoj Tiwary’s maiden international century. Both Kieron Pollard (119) and Andre Russell (53) gave the Windies some hope, but a trademark middle-order collapse was enough to ensure a victory for India.
Play was called off due to rain at Queen's Park Oval, Port of Spain

Shikhar Dhawan extended his excellent Champions Trophy form to the start of the West Indies tour but heavy rain forced the abandonment of the 1st ODI at the Queen's Park Oval on Friday.

Shikhar Dhawan scored 87 and featured in an opening stand of 132 with Ajinkya Rahane (62) as the tourists reached 199 for three off 39.2 batting first when torrential midday showers curtailed their innings and no further play was possible

Shikhar Dhawan looked certain to complete an 11th ODI hundred only to fall leg-before to Devendra Bishoo 13 runs short of the landmark.

Ajinkya Rahane made the most of his opportunity with the experienced Rohit Sharma rested from this campaign following the Champions Trophy.
He was first to the half-century mark but was also the first wicket to fall, deceived by a slower delivery from fast bowler Alzarri Joseph and offering a simple catch to Holder at mid-on.

Virat Kohli ar 32* and M S Dhoni 09* were at the crease when rain stopped play
