The 24-year-olds have been working on the Jio team for the past two years, which the proud father acknowledged on Thursday Sep 01,2016

“Jio is the creation of the young, by the young and for the young. Isha and Akash are directors at Jio. They have been hands-on leaders and represent the large contingent of young people at Jio,” he said. Shareholders present at the AGM urged the siblings to take up the mantle soon and take Rjio to new heights.

Other than Isha and Akash, Jio is the creation of a set of Ambani’s trusted lieutenants.

These include

Manoj Modi: Mukesh Ambani’s right hand man and close confidant, he studied Chemical Engineering with the RIL boss in the 1970s. He has overseen all of RIL’s biggest businesses ranging from petrochem and infocomm to retail, and now Jio.
Sanjay Mashruwala: The little known Reliance Jio MD has been with the group since 1981. He was involved in building the nationwide fibre optic network for Infocomm, the group’s first attempt at telecom in 2001, of which he was the president. He has also served as the Head of Project Implementation at Reliance Petroleum. He holds a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT-Bombay and a master’s from the University of Texas.
Anuj Jain: President at Reliance Jio, he has almost 25 years of experience in telecom, having worked with Alcatel, Fujitsu and with Airtel in the network planning and engineering function. He is a US citizen with overseas citizenship of India.
Mathew Oommen: President of Network, Global Strategy and Service Development at RJio, he is serving a second stint with the group. An MS in Electrical and Telecommunications from Oklahama State University, he too worked with Infocomm between 2002 and 2008. He also worked with Flag Telecom and with Sprint Nextel before returning to Jio in 2011.
