Ford India has introduced a ‘Black Edition’ of its compact Ford EcoSport in a bid to enhance its sporty and imposing stance.
The Black Edition, as described by the company, will be available in
three variants -- Trend+, Titanium & Titanium+, -- and has been
priced between ₹8.58 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi) and ₹9.93 lakh.
The vehicle will come in three powertrain variants -- 1.5 TiVCT petrol
engine with manual and automatic transmission options, 1.5 TDCi diesel
engine as well as globally-acclaimed 1.0 EcoBoost engine.
The new variant will offer all-black exteriors including a black grille,
black-out moulded headlamps, 16-inch black alloy wheels, black mirror
covers, and black fog lamp bezel, black roof rails & roof cross
bars.
“The ‘Black Edition’ accentuates EcoSport’s bold design, giving the
compact SUV an even more striking look and a substantial road presence,”
said Anurag Mehrotra, executive director Marketing, Sales & Service
at Ford India.
The Black Edition will also offer up to six airbags for an enhanced level of protection for the driver and as well passengers.
