Twitter introduces special #RepublicDay emoji Tuesday January 26,2016

 

After Google, Twitter is also commemorating the 67th Indian Republic Day with a special feature added to its microblogging platform.

Typing #RepublicDay in any tweet will automatically display a special Republic Day emoji in the colours of the Indian National Flag

Tweet with hashtag #RepublicDay and add the special #RepublicDay emoji to your tweets. https://t.co/hF3eCNAjJx

Clicking on the emoji will further lead you to all the results, including top tweets, live, photos, accounts, etc, for '#Republic Day'.

Twitter India announced the special emoji with an post by actor Sonam Kapoor who posted a picture of herself holding the Indian flag at the sets of her upcoming movie Neerja.
