And on Tuesday night Dec 08,2015, Lindsay Lohan gave fans at London's O2 an even bigger shock when she strutted onto stage to perform with the iconic band for the latest stop on their Paper Gods tour.
 Old pals: Duran Duran's Simon Le Bon and the star have been close friends for over ten years
The 29-year singer glammed up in a sparkly crop top and trousers for her big night, as she danced the encore away with lead singer Simon Le Bon.
Encore! The star, who released two albums in the mid noughties, looked in her element on stage at the vast arena  
She's the one! Of asking his pal to be a part of their latest album, the singer revealed: 'We knew we needed something quite special for the middle of that song, but nobody really had a good idea of what to put in it' 
In her element: Lindsay was on cloud nine as she joined her close friend for the close of the show
Collaboration: The US star lent her vocals to a spoken work part on the '80s legend's new album, Paper Gods, the band's 14th studio album 
Disco emergency: Lindsay plays a doctor on the synth-heavy track, Danceophobia, where she huskily proclaims she has the cure for a fear of dancing before the song drops into full flow 
Work it: Simon and Lindsay giggled away as they showed off their moves for the crowd 
Taking a twirl: The star flashed a huge grin as Simon pulled her toward him
