2015-16 Sri Lanka Tour of New Zealand Dec 10 - Jan 10,2016

New Zealand will host Sri Lanka for two Tests, five One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and two Twenty20 Internationals (T20I).

This will be Sri Lanka’s second away series this year.

The tour will begin with Sri Lanka taking on New Zealand Board President XI on December 3, with the first Test against New Zealand at Dunedin on December 10. The tour will end on January 10 at Auckland for the second T20I.

Sri Lanka had last toured New Zealand in the year 2014, and they had lost a two-Test series to the Kiwis.
In the last Test series between them, New Zealand comprehensively defeated Sri Lanka at home in 2014-15 season.
The earlier series at Sri Lanka in 2012-13 was drawn with both teams winning one Test each, and 2009 series was won by Sri Lanka,  by a margin of 2-0.

Both teams have clashed in 32 Tests in history and New Zealand easily have the upper hand, as they have won 12 Tests. Sri Lanka, on the other hand, has won only eight Tests versus the Kiwis. Ten matches were drawn and two were cancelled

Sri Lanka is to play NZ  5 ODIs, 2 Tests, 2 T20s between Dec 10 to Jan 10,2016
