Thousands
of angry protesters took to the streets in Eastern Europe to voice
their opposition to the influx of migrants into the region.
'Islam
will be the death of Europe' chanted protesters at a rally in Warsaw,
with the pre-dominantly Roman Catholic crowd reaching as many as 5,000
people.
Hundreds
of people also demonstrated in Prague and in the Slovak capital
Bratislava, some holding banners reading: 'You're not welcome here so go
home'.
The vast demonstration in Bratislava comes
as the country's interior minister Robert Kalinak confirmed that
Slovakia will veto any decision on mandatory quotas
Many of the protesters called for resistance against mandatory quotas for refugees in Europe

The International
Organization for Migration said on Friday that more than 430,000 people
have crossed the Mediterranean to Europe this year, with 2,748 dying en
route or going missing.
Hungarian police say more than 186,000 people have passed through
Hungary from Serbia this year en route toAustria and the migrants' major
destination, Germany, which says it has taken in more than 50,000
newcomers in the past week alone.
About 450,000 migrants have arrived in Germany this year. The
country is expecting at least 800,000 in 2015 — by far the most in the
28-nation EU
