J Jayalalithaa files nomination for the RK Nagar Assembly June 27,2015 bypoll Friday June 05,2015

 

Amid tight security, J Jayalalithaa on Friday June 05,2015 filed nomination for the June 27 by-elections for the R K Nagar Assembly constituency.

The Radhakrishnan Nagar constituency fell vacant with the recent resignation of AIADMK lawmaker P Vetrival to facilitate Jayalalithaa's re-lection to the Assembly.

J Jayalalitha Declared Assets Worth Rs. 117.13 Crore

As per the affidavit she filed yesterday along with the nominations for the bypoll, Jayalalithaa has total assets of Rs 117.13 crore, which include Rs 45.04 crore of movable assets and Rs 72.09 crore of immovable assets. - See more at: http://indianexpress.com/article/india/india-others/tamil-nadu-cm-jayalalithaa-declares-assets-worth-rs-117-13-crore/#sthash.07lL6Cn2.dpuf
 As per the Affidavit filed alongwith the nomination,J Jayalalithaa has total assets of 117.13 crores which include 45.04 crores of Moveable Assets and 72.09 Crores of Immovable Assets

J Jayalalithaa, who was elected from Srirangam constituency in May 2011, lost her seat and the chief minister's position after a trial court in Bengaluru convicted her in a corruption case and sentenced her to four years jail term and Rs 100 crore fine in September 2014

However, the Karnataka High Court upheld her appeal and acquitted her of all charges in May 2015

J Jayalalithaa is back as Tamil Nadu chief minister on Saturday May 23,2015.She has to get elected to the Assembly within six months from the date of being sworn in as the chief minister
