Michael Clarke,Australia's Captain announces retirement from ODI's Saturday March 28,2015

One day ahead of the big World Cup final between co-hosts Australia and New Zealand, Aussie skipper Michael Clarke has announced that he will be retiring from one-day international cricket after Sunday's final which is going to be hosted at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

"Tomorrow will be my last ODI game for Australia," Clarke said at the start of the press conference ahead of the big match. "I've just spoken to my teammates, James Sutherland, Rod Marsh and Darren Lehmann and informed them that tomorrow (Sunday) will be my last ODI game for Australia."

When asked by the reporters whether this decision was made long time ago, Clarke said he only decided on this about 48 hours ago when he returned home from the semi-final against India, which Australia won by 95 runs.
"I think I got back to my house at about 12.30. Kyly was in bed and that's when I spoke to her about it. I know I've made the right decision,Michael Clarke added.

Michael Clarke has played 244 ODIs for Australia, and made 7907 runs at an average of 44.42 with 8 hundreds and 57 half-centuries
