Y.K. Sinha, High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka, presented his credentials to President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the Presidential Secretariat here on Wednesday July 3,2013

Y.K. Sinha succeeds Ashok K. Kantha, who is now Secretary (East), Ministry of External Affairs.

• served as Ambassador to Venezuela and Consul-General of India in Dubai
• held key positions in the Indian missions in New York, Islamabad, Rome, Abu Dhabi and Riyadh
