San Fermin Festival in Spain July 6-14,2013


The Spanish festival of San Fermin is held in the city of Pamplona every year from July 6-14 and is attented by over 1,000,000 people from around the world. The festival, apart from being famous for The Bull Race, is also known for several traditional and folkloric events such as the giants and big-heads parade. Traditional sports, also known as the Basque rural sports include activities such as stone lifting, wood cutting, or hay bale lifting. The festival ends with a spectacular display of fireworks at night, which has been a tradition since 1595
