Caroline Wozniacki - Danish Tennis Player

Caroline Wozniacki(DOB July 11,1990)is a Danish Tennis Player and former World No 1 who as of Jan 2012 held this position for 67 weeks and was the first Scandinavian woman to hold the top ranking position and 20th overall

Caroline Wozniacki made her WTA debut in 2005 and has won 20 WTA Women's Singles Titles as of  October 2012 -

3 in 2008
3 in 2009
6 in 2010(most since Justine Henin's 10 in 2007)
6 in 2011 and
2 in 2012


 






Caroline Wozniacki also holds 2 WTA titles in Women's Doubles.

However,Caroline Wozniacki is yet to win a women's Grandslam Title.

In 2009 Caroline Wozniacki was the ninth seed at the US Open and it was her best result to date by becoming the first Danish woman to reach a Grandslam  final. There, she was defeated by Kim Clitjsters who had recently made a comeback after retiring in 2007

In 2010 Caroline Wozniacki became one of only two women (the other being Venus Williams) to have reached at least the fourth round of all four Grand Slam events
