The Jio effect has hit India’s telecom sector hard and almost all the operators in the country are feeling the heat.
The established telecom operators are launching new plans every other day to fight off competition.
State-owned telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has also entered the battle.
In its latest bid to match the offers being provided by Reliance Jio, BSNL on Friday afternoon Sep 15,2017 launched a new plan of Rs 249.
BSNL took to its official Twitter handle to announce this new plan. In this Rs 249 plan, BSNL offers free voice (local and STD) on BSNL to BSNL calls and 1 GB of data per day for 28 days on pan-India basis.
The offer is available for prepaid mobile users.
BSNL has launched this offer just days after it came up with a Rs 429 plan. In this plan, BSNL offers 1 GB data per day for 90 days for prepaid mobile customers.
The users also get free voice (local and STD) on any network.
The offer is available on a pan-India basis (except Kerala Circle)
