Will another Nehru/Gandhi take over as Congress party chief?

With the general elections, a year and a half away, the Congress party is expected to announce a much-speculated change of guard this October. 

Congress vice-president, Rahul Gandhi is likely to take over the reins from his mother Sonia Gandhi who has been heading party for 19 years – the longest ever stint for a Congress party president. 

We look at how many years a member of the Nehru/Gandhi family has been at the helm of affairs of INC and how often they have headed the party and the govt at the same time.
