Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa was on Saturday evening Nov 19,2016 shifted to a special room from the Intensive Care Unit in the Apollo Hospitals here, a senior AIADMK leader said.
"She has been shifted to a special spacious room just now," AIADMK spokesperson C Ponnaiyan told IANS.
Apollo Hospitals Chairman Pratap C Reddy had earlier said Jayalalithaa is fine and she can go home whenever she chooses to.
Apollo Hospitals Chairman Pratap C Reddy had said Jayalalithaa is breathing and sleeping well, and is on ventilator only for 15 minutes daily.
The 68-year-old AIADMK supremo was admitted to the hospital for treatment of fever and dehydration on September 22,2016
The doctors later said she needed a longer hospital stay as she was suffering from infection and put her on respiratory support.
