The wedding, held in Kochi, was an intimate affair with over 200 guests present at the venue in Kochi. Among the stars, Mamooty, Jayaram, Narain, Salim Kumar, Menaka, Joemol and Chippi and director Joshy, siddique were all present at the wedding.
Dileep took to Facebook some moments before his wedding and expressed his elation over the 'big day' of his life. He said, "I am getting married today. When I felt I wanted to get married, my family, including my daughter came to this decision. Kavya, my friend, is someone whose name has been linked with mine in several gossips and I felt it was not appropriate for me to marry anybody else.” He appealed to everyone for their blessings and also said that there should be no controversies over his wedding.
