Aadhaar mandatory for students appearing for JEE in 2017

has been made mandatory for students appearing for (Main) in 2017. According to a notice issued by the Union Ministry for Human Resource Development (MHRD), will be required by the students during filling the application form.

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is an all-India common engineering entrance examination.
 
The online application process will start from December 1. The last date for filling the application forms is January 2, 2017 and fee can be paid up to January 3, 2017. 

The notice clearly mentions that the particulars on the application form should match those on the card.

Here is the full text of the MHRD notice:

All the Indian citizen candidates should possess card issued by UIDAI. At the time of filling application form of (Main)–2017, the candidates will have to enter their number, name, date of birth & gender which will be validated with the UIDAI’s data.  In case, these particulars do not match, the candidates will not be able to fill the application form for (Main)–2017. Therefore, the candidates are advised to ensure that their card has correct details of their name, date of birth & gender as per school records. If there is some mismatch in these details, the candidates should immediately get it corrected in data or school records, as the case may be.
