The second list of 27 Smart Cities has been announced by the govt.
Maharashtra tops with five cities making it to the list, followed by
Tamil Nadu and Karnataka with four cities each.
So far, the urban
development ministry has selected 60 cities from 27 states and Union
Territories.
In future, the remaining nine states and UTs will also come
on board.
