Australia's track cycling team has suffered a massive scare after world champion Melissa Hoskins was taken to hospital after a huge crash in the velodrome.
Melissa Hoskins
was training at full race speed with the rest of the team pursuit
squad, who are strongly fancied to challenge for medals in Rio, when she
went down heavily along with three of her team-mates.
Pictures showed her clearly in a lot of pain as she was placed on a stretcher and treated by medical staff.
