TOWIE's Ferne McCann successfully completes nail-biting 10k Great Scottish Swim Saturday Aug 27,2016

Ferne McCann's more often seen paddling in the Mediterranean sea on glamorous party holidays with her TOWIE co-stars.

But Ferne McCann took to somewhat chillier waters on Saturday Aug 27,2016, as she slipped into a wetsuit to embark on the Great Scottish Swim.

The former reality star, 26, showcased her athleticism - and sensational curves - as she participated in the 10k swim at Loch Lomond in bonny Scotland

The 10k race organised by Great Swim incorporates the Scottish Swimming National One Mile Open Water Championship race.

However anyone can take part at any fitness level, with distances ranging from the beginners half-mile, to the full 10k.

Ferne has seemingly taken open water swimming like a duck to water, having already participated in another race at the Salford Quays, Manchester, in July 2016

As an ambassador of Great Swim, Ferne revealed of her new hobby: 'I was really apprehensive about my first open water swimming event but I absolutely loved it!
Success! Still sopping wet, Ferne looked fabulous as she cocked her hip and beamed for the cameras after the race - exuding the confidence that has emerged since her recent nose job
Ferne confidently displayed her enviable hourglass figure for all to see in the skin-tight wetsuit not many would be brave enough to wear.
