Don Bradman was born on August 27, 1908 in New South Wales. He went on to represent Australia in 52 Tests, with an average of 99.94 - a record that stands even today. He scored 29 centuries and 13 half-centuries. His international career spanned two decades - from 1928 to 1948.
In his first-class career, Bradman played 234 matches with an average of 95.14. He has 117 first-clas tons to his name. Bradman died on February 25, 2001.
