The Lucknow district administration has asked all multiplexes in the city to run a free show of the Bollywood film Rustom on August 15,2016 an official said on Thursday Aug 11,2016
This is being done to inculcate a sense of patriotism in the masses, District Magistrate Raj Shekhar told
A total of 1,704 seats have been reserved in the eight multiplexes in the capital of Uttar Pradesh.
The tickets are available on a first-come-first-served basis, the official said.
10 % seats have been reserved for specially-abled Divyangs in various theatres and 33 %have been reserved for senior citizens and 33 per cent for students from schools and colleges.
The ticket windows for this special show of the Akshay Kumar-starrer film will open from Friday, the official added
Rustom is based on the real life incident of Naval Officer K M Nanavati
Rustom (Akshay Kumar) is a naval officer who married Cynthia (Illeana D'Cruz) against his father's wishes. When Rustom was away on a trip, Cynthia and Vikram (Arjan Bajwa) come close and have an affair. Rustom returns and is furious to find out about the affair. He confronts Vikram, who is killed in an ensuing scuffle. Rustom is tried for murder in court, with defence and prosecution lawyers fighting it out.
