El Shehaby lost Friday Aug 12,2016’s fight against Or Sasson and was told to leave
by his own team – as well as being reprimanded by the International
Olympic Committee.

Shehaby(32)aid he did not want to shake hands with an Israeli for
‘personal reasons’, nor was he obliged to do so under judo rules.
When Israel's Or Sasson extended his hand at the end of the bout at Rio
2016 last Friday, Egypt's Islam El Shehaby backed away during the first
round of the judo
