Superstar Rajinikanth's Kabali was released on over 4,500 screens across the globe on July 22 ,2016 and earned Rs 48 crore on the first day itself.

While here it failed to breach Baahubali’s record that made Rs 50 crore on the opening day, it has been luckier elsewhere.
