Sussex cricketer Matthew Hobden has died at the age of 22.
In a statement, the club said it was "deeply shocked and saddened" by the news. The cause of death has not been given.
Born and educated in Eastbourne, Mathew Hobden made his 1st class debut for Sussex in 2014 and represented the county in all formats of the game.
A promising fast bowler, his final appearance was in a one-day match against Essex in August 2014
