Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday afternoon Jan 02,2016reached Mysuru on a 2-day visit of Karnataka.
PM Modi visited Avadhoota Datta Peetham, an ashram in the city soon after arriving here.
On the Sunday (January 3), the prime minister will inaugurate the 103rd session of Indian Science Congress at the University of Mysore.
He will also lay the foundation stone for a new helicopter manufacturing unit at Tumkur .
PM Modi will also inaugurate the 21st International Conference on Frontiers in Yoga Research and its Applications, at Jigni on Sunday
