From being the world's cheapest car to being the world's cheapest automatic car, the Tata Nano has come a long way.

Though the Tata Nano GenX model retains much of its original shape, it now sports a relatively up-market cabin, a slightly updated engine, a bigger fuel tank along with other exterior changes

It also gets an automated manual transmission and openable hatch in its current form. The 5-speed AMT found on the Tata Nano GenX is the same unit the one found on the Zest
