Sistema Shyam TeleServices, on Monday Nov 02,2015 announced its merger with Anil Ambani-led Reliance Communications.
The company, an Indian subdivision of Russian Mobile TeleSystems, was
wireless, broadband and mobile communication service under the brand
name MTS.
Following the completion of the transaction, RCom will take
responsibility for payment of SSTL's frequency spectrum licensing fees
payable by installments to the Department of Telecommunications of
India, a press release from Sistema read.
