Prime Minister Modi accepts Barack Obama's invitation to US
Prime Minister Narendra Modi
has accepted an invitation from US President Barack Obama to have
bilateral discussions in Washington in September2014 opening a
new chapter in the relationship between the world’s two
biggest democracies.
S Jaishankar, the Indian ambassador to the United States, is flying to New Delhi
on June 8 for consultations with South Block and the prime minister’s
office (PMO), and will brief Modi on the relationship and how to take it
forward.
