N Chandrababu Naidu(TDP) to be sworn in as CM of new Andhra Pradesh on Sunday June 08,2014

Nara Chandrababu Naidu will be sworn in as the first Chief Minister of the newly-created state of Andhra Pradesh on June 08,2014 Sunday evening at 7.27 p.m. at a grand event hosted in Guntur district. 

The 64-year-old TDP leader will assume office as the Chief Minister for the third time. The first time he came to power in 1995 and again in 1999 and served as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. 

Later, he was the leader of Opposition for 10 years during the Congress regime. 

Following the success in the 2014 Assembly Elections, he will now become the first CM of the new state, post the division of AP into Telangana (with 10 districts) and 13 districts of AP.

  • TDP         102 seats
  • BJP            04 seats
  • YSRC        67 seats and
  • Others        02 seats
