Supreme Court of India(SC) Restrains Tamil Nadu from releasing three Rajiv Gandhi killers Thursday Feb 20,2014


The Supreme Court of India(SC)has restrained the Tamil Nadu government from releasing three killers of Rajiv Gandhi.


The Centre had filed an appeal against the Tamil Nadu government order releasing all seven assassins of former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi. The Central government said during the proceedings that there is a procedure Section 432 of the Criminal procedure code that have not been followed.

The Tamil Nadu Govt has been asked to maintain status quo till further orders and SC will take up the matter on March 06,2014 for hearing
will take up the matter on March 6 for hearing.
