Congress MP from Vijayawada Lagadapati Rajagopal Rajagopal said he took a principled stand four years back that he
would quit the Lok Sabha and also active politics if Andhra Pradesh was
divided.
Congress MP from Vijayawada Lagadapati Rajagopal. Rajagopal, who was earlier expelled from the Congress for giving a
notice for moving a no-confidence motion against the UPA government in
the Lok Sabha, created a controversy by spraying pepper from a canister
to protest the move to create a separate Telangana.
