In a new year bonanza for girl students in Haryana, the state government
will provide free travel facility to them in the state-owned buses.
Free passes will be issued to all the girls of Haryana studying in various schools, colleges and institutes in the state and are recognised by the state government or are affiliated with any University or Board in the state, Transport Minister Aftab Ahmed said on Tuesday Dec 31,2013
The passes will be issued for a maximum limit of 60 km on half-yearly basis on the recommendation of the authorities of the school, or college or institution.
