2013-14 UEFA Champions League Final -Real Madrid Vs Atletico Madrid Lisbon Saturday May 24,2014

Saturday's match between Real and Atletico is the first European Cup final with two teams from the same city. It will also be the fifth meeting between the two sides this season


Both Teams have met 4 times this season. In La Liga, Atletico won 1-0 at Real's Bernabeu stadium and they drew 2-2 at the Calderon in the return, while in the two-legged Copa del Rey semi-finals Atletico were on the end of a 5-0 aggregate drubbing

After winning 2013-14 La Liga for the first time since 1996, Atletico Madrid are attempting to win their first European Cup.
They reached the final in 1974 but were beaten 4-0 by Bayern Munich in a replay, after the first match finished 1-1.
