Slobodanka Tosic,a former Playboy Model and One-time Miss Bosnia sentenced 2.5 years for participating in an attempted murder in Bosnia Wednesday March 02,2016

Slobodanka Tosic(29)was sentenced to prison by a Bosnian court for 2.5 years for luring convicted murderer Djordje Zdrale into an ambush where his rivals were waiting to kill him. 

Zdrale, who was allegedly in love with Tosic, was shot but he survived the attempted assassination and later testified against her.

He said during his testimony that the day of the attempted assassination, Tosic sent him a text message to come get her and take her to a location

When they were brought to the village of Pavlovac, Croatia, Tosic, according to allegations, gave a hand signal and Zdrale's rivals fired at him. 

Zdrale is in prison for the murder of the former Chief of Police Ljubica Savic.

The court said the attempted assassination was masterminded by another Balkan gangster, Darko Elez, who has been jailed for crimes including murder and robbery

Last year, Tosic was arrested in Croatia and extradited back to her home town in Bosnia and Herzegovina to face trial.

 

She fled from Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2014 where the trial, along with her case, started. 

Tosic was one of 32 people targeted after police staged an undercover investigation named 'Operation Doll'.

Since leaving her homeland she's worked as a model for Playboy.

 

Tosic appeared on the Serbian Playboy cover and also participated in a Serbian reality show.  

She is also a former Miss Bosnia.
