Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will campaign in Rae Bareli and Amethi when the election dates are declared, senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said. He added that Priyanka will be asked to campaign in other places too.
Speaking to media persons, Azad said the chief ministerial candidate for Uttar Pradesh will be announced at an appropriate time.
Earlier in the day, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra attended a Congress meeting on Uttar Pradesh elections at the party's state incharge Ghulam Nabi Azad's residence in Delhi on Tuesday.
Priyanka was also present at the Uttar Pradesh strategy meeting at 10 Janpath, the residence of her mother and party president Sonia Gandhi's residence, on Monday.
