Gigi Hadid lands her first American Vogue cover - but shares the honor with Olympic gold medal-winning decathlete Ashton Eaton

Stephanie Seymour and Rebecca Romijn can eat their words — because no one can claim Gigi Hadid isn't a supermodel now that's she's landed her first cover of American Vogue.

The 21-year-old shared the good news on Instagram today as Vogue editors splashed her cover — which she shares with Olympic decathlete and gold medalist Ashton Eaton — all over the internet.

'This one's dedicated to my biggest inspirations to work hard, my family, to all my coaches throughout my life,' Gigi wrote in anInstagram  post, which racked up nearly 300,000 likes in just an hour. 'And of course to the fans that have stuck by me from the start!!! Feeling extremely blessed.'
