The 2nd ODI between New Zealand and Pakistan was
abandoned because of rain on Thursday January 28,2016 without a ball being bowled.
New Zealand will take a 1—0 lead in the three—match series into Sunday’s final match at Auckland.
Umpires Billy Bowden of New Zealand and Bruce Oxenford of Australia made
the decision to abandon the match after their fourth ground inspection
at 6.20 p.m. local time, more than four hours after the scheduled start.
