Cheteshwar Pujara(105*)and Virat Kohli(77*)scored 191* Runs for the 3rd wicket
The 191-run unbroken partnership between Virat Kohli and Pujara is already India's 3rd highest in South Africa, and their highest in the second innings of a Test in South Africa. Mohammad Azharuddin and Sachin Tendulkar added 222 runs for the sixth wicket in Centurion in 1997 which is the highest partnership for India in South Africa for any wicket.

Virat Kohli followed his century in the first innings with an unbeaten 77, becoming only the second Indian batsman after Rahul Dravid to get a hundred and a fifty in a Test in South Africa

For Virat Kohli, though, this is the second time he has hit a hundred and a fifty in a Test. He had done it against New Zealand in Bangalore in 2012

Vernon Philander takes 100 wickets in Test Matches and becomes the the fastest South African bowler and the joint 6th fastest of all time to the landmark, having reached it in 19 matches(Before Philander, Dale Steyn was the fastest South African bowler to take 100 wickets)

The partnership is the highest against hosts South Africa, eclipsing the 176 between Gautam Gambhir and Sachin Tendulkar at Cape Town in January 2011















This was the second time that Kohli has scored a hundred and a fifty in the same Test.
He had scored 103 and 51 in a Test against New Zealand at the Chinnaswammy Stadium in Bangalore in 2012







He is also only the second batsman to post a hundred and a fifty in the same Test match vs South Africa in South Africa.
Rahul Dravid recorded scores of 148 and 81 at Johannesburg in January 1997.

Highlights
This was the third-closest draw in Tests in terms of runs remaining. 
There have been two instances of teams drawing a Test with just one run remaining, 
which are the closest of draws in Tests. England drew against Zimbabwe with
 one remaining in Bulawayo in 1996 and India against West Indies in Mumbai in 2011  


AB de Villiers and Faf du Plesis scored 205 Runs for the 5th wicket













The 205-run partnership beween AB de Villiers and Faf du Plessis was the 
highest ever 5th wicket stand and the only double-century stand for that wicket to come in the
 fourth innings of a Test, beating the 177-run partnership between
 New Zealand's Bev Congdon and Vic Pollard against England at Trent Bridge in 1973.
